Journalist, editor and freelance writer Susan Lundy is the author of two books, including Home on the Strange: Chronicles of Motherhood, Mayhem and Matters of the Heart, a collection of humour stories (Heritage House Publishing, 2021) and Heritage Apples: A New Sensation (Touchwood Editions, 2013).

She has a BA in Creative Writing and Journalism from the University of Victoria, and has won more than 25 writing, design and project awards. She is also a two-time recipient of the prestigious Jack Webster Award of Distinction. She worked for numerous years at the Gulf Islands Driftwood newspaper as reporter, managing editor and design editor. Later, she focused on editing and freelance writing, specializing in travel, creative non-fiction and personal narrative. She is managing editor of Boulevard Magazine Group, which publishes Boulevard Magazine in Victoria, Central Vancouver Island and the Okanagan. She is also managing editor of Tweed Magazine and Soar, the inflight publication for Pacific Coastal Airlines.
