BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS: Born in Naples, Italy and emigrated to Canada with family. Attended Capilano College, University of Victoria (studied with P.K. Page, Robin Skelton, Derk Wynand... While in Victoria wrote first review of Theresa Kishkan's ICONS OF THE HUNT for the journal From and Island, which then became Raddle Moon under the directorship of Susan Clark. Continued as collaborator with Raddle Moon.), University of Alberta (befriended Elizabeth Smart and local writers Bonnie Bishop, Doug Barbour, Caterina Edwards) and UCLA. Teaches literature, film and creative writing in the Dept of Literature, University of California San Diego and splits his time between San Diego, Vancouver and Italy.
